WalletJury ("we") runs walletjury.com, a community where people post a purchase they are considering and others vote on it. This policy explains what we collect and why.

What we collect

What you post. The item, price, your reason, how often you'd use it, your budget answer, your verdicts and replies, and the display name you choose (optional). Posts and replies are public on the site.
An anonymous juror ID. A random identifier stored in a cookie named wj. It lets you vote once per case and lets you log what you did on your own posts. It is not linked to your real identity. We don't require an account, email address or password.
Your IP address, stored with each post and reply to limit spam and abuse.
Preferences in your browser (language, display name), stored in your browser's local storage and never sent to us except the display name you attach to a post.

How we use it

To show posts, votes and verdicts on the site.
To prevent spam and abuse (rate limits, removing content that breaks our Terms).
If you leave "share my case" checked, we may repost your case (not your name, unless you chose to show it) on WalletJury's Instagram, X, Facebook and Reddit accounts, and bring comments from those posts back to the site.
To generate a first "AI juror" reply. Your post text is processed by Cloudflare Workers AI for this. It is not used to identify you.

We don't sell your data, we don't run ads, and we don't use third-party tracking or analytics cookies.

Service providers

The site runs on Cloudflare (hosting, database, AI). Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when fonts load.

How long we keep it

Posts and replies stay up until you ask us to remove them or we remove them for breaking the rules. You can ask us to delete your posts at any time; tell us the case number (for example WJ-AB12C).

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email hello@walletjury.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Children

WalletJury is not meant for anyone under 16. Don't post if you are under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date above. Significant changes will be announced on the site.
